Is there government assistance for healthy seniors who have outlived their money?

My mom is 75 and healthy. It seems inevitable that she will outlive her money. Neither my sister or I can or wish to have her move in or support her financially and I am trying to determine housing options when/if she has no financial assets left. Thx.
