Can we get Medicaid while married and both on disability?

me and husband on disability he with cancer and me a mental mess.we got wed in july 2012 and was cut of medicaid because they told us that we make to much money! ha thats a lie we both get a monthly check, do not own property a bank account with enough to keep it open so we can cash our monthly checks. so what should we do?

You probably should appeal the Medicaid decision. So much depends on where you live. With both of you on disability, I'd think you'd qualify for Medicaid, but you may have assets that work against you. You may need to seek legal counsel in order to move forward. Good luck,

Appeal that decision! Each of you on disability is entitled to Medicaid. In some states that is automatic, in other you have to apply for it.
