Does this person qualify for Medicaid's program for persons not in a nursing home? (It is called Elderly Waiver here but I think other states call it other things.) That covers dental work and also hearing aides.
If this person has a welfare case worker, discuss this possibility. If he or she is not receiving benefits and has no case worker, call Social Services and ask for a needs assessment.
id visit a few dental offices in person. the phone isnt nearly as business conducive. visit your county dept of health, once again, in person. i have a 30 yr old niece who just arranged quite extensive dental work for 5 bucks a week payments. sometimes you just have to try s**t..
