My husband cannot do a good job of tooth brushing. Any trick to helping him?

That's my original thought but then found he was not turning it on. I also found in his regular toothbrush he was brushing sometimes with mouthwash, nosedrops and anything else within reach. I now have to supervise but he doesn't do a good job.
