I live with my mom who is very ill, and I was heard that I could be getting paid for caring for her. Is this true? I do maintain the housekeeping, her laundry, take her to and from doctor appointments, she likes to cook so I let her. She is 76, has diabetic episodes, congestive heart failure, on May 14th she passed out and died for a short time the EMT's said I did everything right before they got to our home here in Hanover, MA. I am unemployed and heard like I said that I can be getting paid for doing this. I need to know how to do just that.

I cannot do that because my mother is not a Medicaid/Medi/Cal recipient. I do live in California and I wish there was someplace that did provide even a small salary, but I have never heard of any.
I wish I knew more than this. This is clearly a state-level program, and not all states may offer it, and they may have different criteria. Pursue more info through your local Elder Care and Welfare offices. Good luck.
