Does POA override guardian ad litem?

a medical negligence lawsuit was just filed by us 4 siblings on behalf of my father, I am the poa but we agreed to have a different person as the "guardian ad litem" for this legal case only, just want to make sure that the poa is still valid and the guardian ad litem is as I said, just for this particular legal matter and nothing more.....?? thanks

I think the guardian ad Iitem trumps your POA for matters dealing with this case, but that they have no power beyond the case.

In legal matters such as this, however, it's always a good idea to ask a Lawyer in your state and not rely on an internet forum for proof positive.
