If it's the original you're talking about then you'll need to get a new one...sorry..

I hope you are either able to get a copy of it from the lawyer who wrote it up, if they made a copy, or find it. Otherwise, if you mother is still competent to sign it, you will need a new one written up. I had to go through this with my mother.

If you mean something like a POA? Find the attorney that had it made for her and they might have extra copies.

Are you speaking about a DNR advance directive? If so, check with your moms doctors they might have copies on file.
