When to KNOW that you are in over your head?

Snowgrey, This is tough to answer with the limited information in your question. Safety would be on the top of my list. If you feel unsafe in the situation, either for your client or yourself, you are in over your head. It sounds like you lack support in this situation. Is there someone you talk with face to face about the situation, like the your client's family? I'm assuming you aren't employed by an agency as this would be a matter to discuss with your supervisor. My bottom line opinion in this, with the limited information, is your client's best interest are the priority here.
