I am retired but I care for my elderly parents almost everyday in their home. Can I claim a tax deduction?
They cannot function on their own. If so, how do I calculate the value?

I do provide over half their support costs.

No. You would have to provide more than half their support costs. Click on the Money and Legal tab at the top of this page and go to Tax Tips for Caregivers.
