My Mom's continuing to pay for my deceased Dad's medical bills, six months later. Will they continue?

There is a legal time limi (at least in my state). I found out after I paid a bill I received over a year after a surgery and found out I didn't have to pay. Check with her health insurance or Social Security. Maybe they can help.

I got bills more than 6 months after my husband's death. Bummer!
