I'm not sure I understand. Someone who wants to volunteer in my home? Or are you asking how someone goes about getting a volunteer job.
I took a volunteer job while I was caring for my dad in my home. I needed something to do to get out of the house for a few hours a few days a week and I thought if I volunteered they'd be more likely to not be upset if I had to take off suddenly if I had an issue with my dad.
I work in physical therapy and paraphysical therapy and my "specialty", my passion, is brain injury. I Googled "volunteer brain injury" and I found a daycare center for adults with traumatic brain in injury. It was a great experience and I did it for 2 years until life took one of those unexpected turns and I had to actually be paid for working.
I think volunteering is a great experience for everyone involved. Good luck to you.
