Insurance doesn't cover any. 25 year old daughter temporarily on Family Leave, she lives in Atlanta. There is no one else to take mom for treatments, see to all the buying and cooking, all the personal care for mom, including helping mom with shower and several times at night with toilet. Daughter feels trapped, exhausted as she isn't getting any help from any social services, needs to return to work, but can't leave mom without care.

In Miami, I know the American Cancer Society used to run a facility where patients could stay while receiving their cancer treatments. Nice room, could bring a caregiver and stay there for the duration of treatments, it was on the premises of Jackson Memorial Hospital. Many patients where from out of town or out of country, all ages. Ronald McDonald Houses are the same for children. I would call the American Cancer Society and even try Ronald McDonald Charities and call the hospital and see if you can find a place where she can stay during treatment.
Or, does she need, would the doctor prescribe therapy at a rehab center?
I assume mom is 50s or 60s, does she have Disability insurance from her employment? Should she be applying for disability through SS?
Tough stuff to handle. even tougher to be consumed by. Best of luck.
