How to be a successful Geriatric Manager?

I became interested in becoming a Geriatric Manager after some trial by fire experiences with relatives. I live in Florida where they have a few certification programs. My professional background is in HR. When I was younger and in college/grad school I was a nanny and babysitter and grew my "business" through referrals and would like to follow a similar approach. I don't know anyone who is in this profession and it is hard to find any information online. Thank you for any advice!
