My rent is about the same as my SS & SSI. Can I get help with rent?

Hi, I am 70 yrs old and living in an apartment. I have stage 4 lung cancer. My SS and SSI is $721.00 and my rent is $720.00 I receive food stamps for which I am very grateful but is there any help available for the rent? I have heard of subsidized rentals but do not know where to look or who to call. I am living in Lindenwold, N.J. at present.
