Does anyone have experience with help from the Veteran's administration paying for a caregiver?

My mom is a world war II vet, and i have read the veterans administration sometimes will pay a caregiver a stipend. I am exploring this and other possible help from them. i am my mom's primary caregiver. she is 92 and lives alone with help coming in daily. i want to be able to let her live at home as long as she is able,as this is where she is the happiest.
