She sends her CGivers out with requests for this or that and, in the hopes of her eating anything....something, they buy what she asks for. She eats 1 or 2 bites. It just doesn't taste or appeal to her as she expected.
She realizes this is a problem and is trying to address it with my help and her CGs, but doesn't know how. Somehow even knowing her favs, making them and freezing small portions isn't working. Cost is one factor, between shopping, takeout etc., but helping her feel some accomplishment is something too.
To our disadvantage is what Mom doesn't eat, the live in CGs will, so no urgency here.
Update for Moms situation, 2transfusions yesterday for hemolytic anemia, scan next Wed for results of last two chemo treatments (lymphoma S4).
BRW: She has amazed us all with her clarity of mind thru all of this.
Thanks.

What is the cause of the hemolytic anemia? Is it poor nutrition due to low appetite or is this a chicken and egg situation? Are they giving her any blood builders like iron?
