I have POA for my Mom. Do I have the right to change her carer?

My brother was doing it for 5 years and we all felt if he needed help so my other brother said he would come and look after my mum but he said he will only do 35 hours but that is not good enough so my brother that was doing it for 5 years wants to do it full time but my other brother wont let us change it can i step in and make a decision.

Two volunteers!!! They have to be getting paid!! Why don't they share the care giving?

Is there a specific reason why you want to change?

Yes you do but you have two brothers willing to help so I would tread carefully so as not to alienate them. Maybe ask them to come up with a solution between themselves?

If you have your mom's POA, you are your mom. Yes, you can change it -- unless your mother objects.
