Is there a way to get a home health aide for a month?

In the future, when my Mom comes to visit, I can see that we may need help with her. Mom lives in another state with sister, and may be getting home health there on a permanent basis. When she visits me in my state, can we get home health care for just a month? She would be getting the help through the government, so I know we can't "double dip". Concerned about cost, too.
