I need a disposable under pant that will really keep my husband dry at night. Any suggestions?

You mentiond that he is using both the tab diaper type and a pull up. In my experience, the tab diaper type come off too easily even with pull ups over them. I used to use 2 Depends adult pull ups for night time. And these 2 together seemed to work. Hope you can find something that works for your husband. Take care

Mom has a hospital bed with a gel mattress. Her pull-ups soak through. She sleeps on an mattress pad that's waterproof. ($13 Bed Bath & Beyond) I don't use bed linens anymore because I was washing them every day. Every morning, I use a disposable Clorox disinfectant wipe to wash down the gel pad. I launder her nightgowns and the mattress pad every day.

I'm pretty sure you can buy a vinyl gel mattress topper to fit whatever size bed he sleeps in. Then you won't have sheets to do.

Mom sleeps under a washable quilt. It seldom gets wet, but I have a matching one so I can wait a while to wash the soiled one.

These briefs hold over a quart of liquid. If he's losing more than THAT at night, yikes.
