Is it normal for my Mom (96) to wet the bed every night?

it seems that lately my mom is wetting the bed every night and i have seen her that at soon as she goes to bed she will start pulling her diaper down to her thighs and therefore wakes up with the bed totally wet. during the day i will ask her to go to the bathroom but she says she doesnt have to so she hardly goes during the day. anybody with a similar problem?

Try a different size or brand. Obviously what she has is not comfortable. Or get her pajamas called onesies that zip up the back.

My mother was the same way and is 95. She is thriving in a NH, so I don't know if the problem continues or not. I didn't understand how she was wetting throughout the Depends, but maybe she was pulling them down, too. Mother lived alone and used towels to lay on. It was a mess. I am betting the NH has pajamas on her that don't allow the Depends to be pulled down.
