Does anyone out there have a sample letter of a denial by Medicare due to less working quarters?

How did you "apply for Medicare"? Something here is wrong. Government agencies send official letters on official letterhead with a number to call if there are questions. Just call Social Security 1-800-772-1213 or Medicare 1-800-Medicare to get some answers. This is fishy.

Also, Medicare is a Federal program that is based on a person have worked for a certain number of years and having "paid into" the system, both via their own contributions and those of their employer. Your mom might also be eligible for Medicaid, a state run system which low income folks are eligible for.

IK - is English your second language? If so, see if you can get the letters you have received translated. MediCARE since it is a national & federal program has to have their correspondence available in other languages. But these are usually the ones with large population groups (like Spanish, Vietnamese,). See if your local church or a local social service group can help you with all this.

I don't know. But I would go to the website, call the number for your state and ask them. Medicare.gov

we had applied for medicare so the response we were waiting for was from medicare but this onehas not even a letter head do they have letterheads?

BarbBrooklyn Nov 2014
If you go to the Medicare.gov website, you can find a phone number to call, also information about how to file an appeal. Did this letter come from Medicare itself, or from a Healthcare provider like a doctor or hospital?

Did your Grandmother receive such a letter? I can't understand why you would want to see a sample. Could you explain a little more what the problem is, so that we can help?
