Diabetes Type 2 is a treatable condition. First of all, leave off all processed foods and processed meat. Every elderly person, or older person ages differently. As she gets older, in 10 or 15 years time, diabetes can be controlled or maybe not. There will be days when she may struggle with life, and days when she is fine. It is very hard to determine a future for anybody.
