My Mom (91) has limited mobility and no concern for her diet. Any advice?

Her blood sugar is becoming more difficult to control. Her doctor has adjusted her dosages to compensate, but after a month it has been readjusted. I understand her time with us is limited but is it now possible that her body just isn't accepting the insulin as it used to? Is this common when someone reaches this age?

Yes, very common and it is called insulin resistance. If she won't adapt her diet, perhaps she wants Hospice care. Ask her.
