My kids are trying to take my house I'm living in. Where do I go for help?

lwpinkey, curious how you can use the internet to get onto this website if you can't call out on a phone? You should have phone service in case you need to call out in an emergency.

Lwpinkey, do you go to doctor's appointments regularly? Does one of your children go with you?

When you say that someone is trying to "get rid of you" do you mean that they would like you to move to Assisted Living or another place where you can get your meals cooked for you your apartment cleaned and your laundry done? Do you have a caregiver assisting you now part time?

That should be guardian or POA for your care. Left out a word. :)

lwpinky, is one of your children guardian POA for your care? Are the things being done in an effort to help you? or do you think your children are trying to take things from you? If you feel they are trying to harm you, please talk to your lawyer about limiting access to your accounts. Hope this helps some.

Call Adult Protective Services and tell them what you have told us.
