What can we do with a Mom that keeps spending money over the phone?

Every time I leave my house my mother gets on the phone and shops for things she does not need. She uses the phone book and starts calling various businesses she has ordered repair men to fix things that are not broken, or buys flowers for people, she shops and has deliveries made. How can I stop her from spending money when I leave the house.
