How do I document so I can be reimbursed when the house sells?

Mom in nursing home on Medicaid. I am paying the bills on her house. I pay the taxes, insurance, utility bills and extras she needs that the nursing home doesn't provide. I want to know the correct way to pay for these things so I can be reimbursed when the house is sold.
