What is the best way to direct the seating and walking of a visually impaired person with Parkinson's?

HOW TO HELP A PERSON WITH IMPAIRED VISION AND PARKINSON TO SEAT HIMSELF ONTO A CHAIR? HOW TO HOLD HIM WHILE WALKING SO CAREGIVER AND PATIENT WON'T FALL TOGETHER?

If he is having much difficulty, for the safety of you both, I would recommend a transporter chair. They are much lighter, easier to handler and more comfortable than a wheelchair. Yes, talk to his physical therapist.

I would seek direction from his physical therapist.
