Husband diagnosed with mild cognitive disorder is not believing any doctors or test taken. Advice?

My husband is a professional diagnosed with mild cognitive disorder more than 2 years ago. I need help in making him understand the need to retire and sell his professional business. No doctor has been able to convince him and he doesn't remember anyway.
