Ma 91 w ALZ thinks it is dry but it (sniff) clearly is not. I contacted the nationally known company by phone and expressed my suggestion and this company graciously accepted my comment, however the agent said they do not take suggestions. I was bummed. I would definitely purchase color changing (not yellow) pads if they existed.

One suggestion I used to do with ALZ-patients I cared for :: Institute a regimen of bathroom trips at convenient intervals, such as on arising, after breakfast, 1-2 hours later, before lunch... and so on... Many incontinent patients work it that way, whether they feel the urge or not !!! And this allows them to use fewer costly pads by emptying the bladder soon enough to prevent leakage....of course it depends on how acute the condition is, but there is one factor that always enters this scenario :: After sitting for a prolonged period of time, you can bet that an "immediate" trip to the bathroom is "IMMEDIATELY" productive !
.........EVEN IF THE URGE IS NOT FELT IMMEDIATELY !!! .........
With this type of habit change I managed to keep patients odor free, and cut their clothing changes to nearly zero, as well reducing their costly pads-changes needs. You have to also pay attention to their LIQUID INTAKE TIMING and give it about an hour after any large liquid intake to hit the bathroom. --- all of which becomes routine after a while....... I wish you well !
