I have POA for both my parents who are 90. I hid his keys in his apartment before I left knowing full well he should not be
driving. His medication specifically states no driving. My mother is on Aricept for memory. She gave up her license 35 years ago. How liable am I if he has his key?

That is one thing I worry about, my Dad wanting to get back behind the wheel. My parents keep their car for emergencies.... emergencies?.... ah, Dad, the folks at 911 have vehicles. I guess still keeping the car means they still have independence even though they can't drive anywhere.
Good luck.
