My Mom (89) needs to move in with me but she cannot be on her own all day. Will an adult day care be a good option?
she has Medicaid and Medicare. Will these two cover an Adult day care. I need help because I have no idea what options I have or what Medicare and Medicaid cover.
Before you do anything, I would go to the adult daycare and ask them every question that you have. It depends on how mobile your mom is and what all the daycare offers, if they can even accept her. Then, (my mom is 96) I would think about what happens if she goes one day and then, refuses. After you have her moved in, she will basically call the shots and not even allow you to leave for work.
I know that sounds strange, but read here all that you can, before you move her in.
