for the past 3 days mom has been on a rampage. Accusing me of stealing all her money and meds. I can't talk any sense into her. I ended up losing my temper which I didn't like. Now she is emotionally and physically exhausted. I'm trying to get her into dr but can't get her in until june. Also we are going back to hometown where I think she will be more comfortable. I wish I would have neverover here, but what's done is done. I have dpoa over her but I'm at my wits end. Is this normal behavior?

Well, she isn't REALLY fine, and her dementia, which might be vascular or Lewy and not Alz, is stepwise getting worse. If the ER could not find anything that hurts her, or an acute stroke or heart attack or something else beyond the treated UTIs, a non-emergency appointment with a good geriatrician or geri-psych or neuro specialist who is fully aware of what is going on and not taken in by showtiming may be just the ticket.
If possible, take your Mom to an urgent care center, someone who can see her immediately to check for that UTI... or take her to the ER.... if it is an UTI, you would want that cleared as soon as possible.
