I'm taking care of my mother-in-law who is on dialysis and my husband is taken care of his Dad. How do we get checks started?

Mother-in-law is on dialysis cant get around or care for her self an longer so i have to make sure she is bathed dressed takes all of her med and prepare her food..... my husband is caring for his father who has dementia and other medical problems ...... he showers him dresses ,him feeds, gives him his meds

Checks from whom? Medicare won't pay you. Medicaid will provide in home care with a doctor's written order, but the care comes from an agency. You would have to convince the agency to hire you. So sorry, but that is the reality of elder care. Who said you would get paid?
