My husband is repeating everything (almost) I say. Is this usual in Vascular Dementia?

Not much more to add to the above.

And also, Diane, make sure that you get out of the house and away from this craziness every day. Meet a friend for coffee, go to a movie, go shopping, go for a walk. Get out or you will go nuts, lose your patience, and do something you might have to apologize for. Not good.

The above answers are good. A neurologist or an endocrinologist may be your next steps to getting answers since there are so many other potential health issues that could be contributing to the diseases which cause problems. My wife also has vascular dementia and is being seen by doctors that help in this difficult treatment and of course, diagnosis.

I just assumed that because of the dementia, and it was only questions that she was repeating - it was her way of figuring out how to answer the question.:)

My husband has vascular dementia and sometimes repeats my questions but says he just needs to confirm that I really said that so that he can answer better. I've stopped worrying about it. I think it would bug me more if he kept asking the same question over and over, as happens in some dementias.

Every time I would ask my mom (dementia) a question - she would repeat it. Not everything. There might be something else going on that's not dementia related. Best to see a specialist.

Maybe yes, maybe no. See a Neurologist and get some tests done.
