I take care of my disabled wife. I have done this for a number of years. Are there any programs that will help some on finances?

I do not get every thing done now. So I don't know how I would work. I am 76 and my wife is 68.

Try calling your county office of aging. They are typically tuned into available services. Sometimes getting help requires applying to different organizations. For example, the LEAP program helps pay for heating and utilities for lower income families. That reduces your outflow so you can use that money for other things. Food pantries or the SNAP program may give you more food buying capacity. Sometimes a local Habitat for Humanity group may be able to make some home repairs. There is a low cost prescription program in most states to assist with medications. Etc Etc.

Correct to above post. It's P.A.C.E. regarding Medicare benefits.

You might check with your state and see if they have something like this In Home Care Program we have in NC. Sorry, I can't post that link as it's not allowed.

PACE is also something you might look into to see if they offer something that might help. It's through Medicare.
That links not allowed it, but google P.A.C.E. regarding Medicaid benefits. You should see the site for your state.
