I live out of town. I am trying to find affordable transportation for Mom. Any advice?
I live in Memphis and my mom lives in Sherwood. I am trying to find her affordable transportation for doctor appointments, grocery store, hair dresser and transportation to a nearby senior center.
It looks like Chattanooga is the largest city closest to Sherwood. Check with Chattanooga's transit service to see if they have any door to door services for seniors.
Also check with the Chattanooga senior center as well as the Sherwood senior center. Sometimes the smaller cities have contract arrangements with a larger metropolitan transit agency to provide door to door transit services for seniors.
