My Mother is on Hospice. She is home with me, each day she is getting weaker. Any advice?

I won't use the morphine, just using the pain pills. I just don't know what to do. My siblings in denial . I'm sad and not sure what to do.
My Mother is fighting, but she seem afraid.
She's been in the Hopice Hospital before and recovered,
What to do?

What you are interpreting as fear could be pain. Talk to the hospice nurse please. Your job now is to keep her comfortable.

If the pain pills are enough, that is fine, but if she is uncomfortable give her what she needs. If they say 1ml, is 1/2 a ml enough? If it says every 2 hrs, can she go every 3 or does she need more in less than 2? Just keep her comfortable and relieve the anxiety for her. Been there. Done that.

Caredb, if it were my mom I would do whatever it takes to keep her comfortable. Are you sure the regular pain meds are enough? If her physical needs are being met then all you can do for her is take care of her spiritual needs and/or anxiety. Would she be comforted by a visit from her religious advisor? Might she benefit from medication to reduce her anxiety and calm her fears? Have you told her what she needs to hear in order to let go? I think you just have to take it one day, one moment at a time and do what feels best for you and her.
So sorry you are going through this.
