PLParkins56, have You applied for Social Security Disability? I would definitely start there, and then go to Social Services to see what you might qualify for, on your own merit and work history, not your Mother's. She needs to qualify for her own benefits. I think?!

yes, was injured at work and we haven't settled yet. My mom has a problem with her ballance and she has aurthor in her back. I have to run and get her meds all the time and take her to Dr's apt.
