I am almost 60 and was injured at work, so I have not worked in 2 -1/2 years. How can I get govt. funded?
My body isn't in perfect shape and now my mom has to live w/me. She has to have someone home all the time, that's why she don't live alone. My dad passed a little over 2 years ago. I am unable to work, and my funds are running out.
PLParkins56, have You applied for Social Security Disability? I would definitely start there, and then go to Social Services to see what you might qualify for, on your own merit and work history, not your Mother's. She needs to qualify for her own benefits. I think?!

yes, was injured at work and we haven't settled yet. My mom has a problem with her ballance and she has aurthor in her back. I have to run and get her meds all the time and take her to Dr's apt. She was living by herself in texas, but came up here to live w/ me so I could help her. I know somewhere out there, I could get some kind of help.If you can't help me, do you know where I can go?
