We submitted an application to Dept. of VA a year ago about receiving benefits. We have no answer and we need assistance. Advice?

Blaine, for what specifically did you apply for? Health care benefits? Qualification for status as service connected injuries?

Did you or your family handle everything yourself? Did you ever have any written communication from the VA?

Contact the Dept of Veterans on a regular basis until you know if your Dad-in-law can get the benefits. Could be after a year your application fell through the cracks.
