I was working for two different caregiver companies. I was told by the one that they had to let me go. Advice?
Would it be legal if I talked to one of my clients with that company about checking with the other caregiver company I am with and see about changing over?
I would review my original agreement with the company before doing anything like that. Many companies have rules about approaching a client for your own benefit -- like leaving to start your own company & taking the clients. This is a no-no for most companies and is often in the employment agreement. One client is not worth a lawsuit.
