Or is it temp?
My 90 yr old mom was choosing programs, flipping through magzines over coffee and still going to the haitdressers once a week. These past few days she sleeeps all the time, cannot follow prompts, and hasn't enough strength to lift her cup. She can no longer feed herself. Last year she was diagnosed with aquired Parkinsons when she could no longer balance enough to walk. Is this new behavior due to Parkinsons? And will she come in and out of it , or just continue to decline?

1. Symptoms of secondary parkinsonism develop, come back, or get worse
2. New symptoms appear, including confusion and movements that cannot be controlled
3. You are unable to care for the person at home after treatment starts
I'd say contact her doctor tomorrow and get her in to see him/her.
