I have guardianship of my father. He is going to go to a nursing home soon. How do I physically get him there?

When my daddy was transferred to the nursing home from the hospital, they arranged a ambulance to take him and mother, sis, and I met him there. It was still a long day. We stayed with him until he got settled in.

If your doctor writes an order for an ambulance to take him to the nursing home, Medicare will pay for it.

I would hire an ambulette and follow behind in a car.
