My brother (51) is in hospice care for RA. How long does he have?

It can actually be very hard to know how long a person has, because we really never know. Even the doctors have been known to say how long a person has, only for the patient to live much longer than expected. Hospice has even had experiences where people have lived much longer than expected, and both patients had to be discharge from hospice. The only one who really knows how long a person has is God

Karen, you really need to ask this question of one of his physicians. His situation is complex and only a treating physician could answer this question.
