Do any of you have a particular long term care insurance you would recommend?

I am 60 and am looking for one for myself and my husband. Thanks.

Check with your local agency on aging first. You may not need long term care insurance. Many seniors can easily qualify for Medicaid-funded long term care.

We published an article on the advantages of Traditional Long Term Care Insurance versus Combination Life and Long Term Care Insurance. We provided an example of premiums and benefits. skloff/traditional-versus-combination-life-and-long-term-care-insurance-long-term-care-university

Newer Long Term Care Insurance (LTC) policies can be Partnership Program certified – allowing you to protect your assets away from Medicaid without a look-back period. We recently published an article on the Florida Long Term Care Partnership Program, since the guidelines are the same in almost all states (except: CA, CT, IN and NY - where we have published unique articles).
