I have a sister in law who needs to be put somewhere where she can be with people and socialize but, also be home cared for in a pt basis.

I just started going to a senior center in a different city from the one I live in - I don't like the city I live in plus I got bad vibes from its senior center. I switched senior centers, and it is so fun to go there; I just love to go there and play bingo

Check to see if her is PACE (Program for the All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) in your area.. They provide socialization, in-home care and a lot other services. I can't tell you how much they have helped us with caring for my mother.

Companion care agencies and senior centers are great for people who are functioning pretty well. Adult Day programs are good for those who might need more additional support outside the home. Call your local area on aging or an aging life care professional in your area. They will be happy to direct you locally,

Check into day programs in your area. Call the Area Agency on Aging for all sorts of information.
