Principal does need meals, meds, and help with bathing. Current agent has gone to extremes limiting principal's ability to see friends and go to church.
Virgil, I see from your profile that the person in question lives in Assisted Living. Thus, wouldn't the assisted living offer the meals, meds, and bathing? And most places do take the residents to church, or either offer on-site inter-faith services.
Could you clarify what you mean by "Agent". And who appointed this person?
