Where to find a caregivers support group, in Sacramento?
For my friend whose husband has stage four bladder cancer. Is there one through Hospice? or a cancer center? I"m not there, but am trying to find something for her to go to.
I googled "caregiver support groups sacramento ca" and found: http://www.seriousillness.org/sacramento-sacramento/programs/index.php?catego=52 and American Cancer Society 1-800-227-2345 and Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center 8421 Auburn Boulevard, Suite 265, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 (916) 728-9333, (800) 635-0220 (regional)
As a good friend, you can make a few phone calls and present her with a list. You are a good friend.
Sorry, seems like ur not being helped. Problem is we r from different states and countries. Your friend needs to talk to a Social Worker at the hospital and/or rehab he has been in. Hospice can be done at home or a facility. As said, she could as her doctor or office of the aging.
