Does a guardian of elderly person in nursing home have the right to stop interstate phone calls from beloved daughter n grandson?
This is in Perth. My sister hates me and has ordered the nursing staff not to pass calls from my son and myself (62yrs) to dad. They say they have to do what the guardian says. They say they have no reason to stop the calls themselves.
My understanding, which may be faulty, is that a court appointed guardian has control of every aspect of the person's life. You may have to appeal to the court.
