If you get Medicaid to help with dr. bills but still live at home can Medicaid take your home?

I missed part of your question. My understanding is that Medicaid doesn't seek reimbursement until after a person passes. I have no personal experience with this but search this site and I believe you'll find information from those who have dealt with this situation.

I'm really sorry to hear of your mothers cancer. I assume you are wanting your mother to receive medical care through Medicaid insurance without having Medicaid seek reimbursement. If this is possible you will need the advice of an elder attorney in the state where your mothers property is located.
