How to stop excessive saliva in mouth from Parkinson's?

My mother suffers from excessive saliva in mouth trying to get away from sweets, sour food and dairy. What is a good substitute for ensure she is loosing a lot of weight also.

My husband has Parkinson's disease & problems with drooling. He has been getting Botox treatments & that has helped with the problem. You might ask about Botox after other problems are resolved.

Yes, she has Parkinson's and just had to get dentures, which is not helping.

The drooling will be a result of her having difficulty swallowing her normal saliva rather than making too much. You can use a barrier cream to protect the corners of her mouth and chin if she drools. Her loss of weight could be due to her difficulty in swallowing normally, have you noticed any other symptoms of dysphagia? From asha.org
coughing during or right after eating or drinking
wet or gurgly sounding voice during or after eating or drinking
extra effort or time needed to chew or swallow
food or liquid leaking from the mouth or getting stuck in the mouth
recurring pneumonia or chest congestion after eating
weight loss or dehydration from not being able to eat enough
